“Celebration” Sweatshirt Workshop

            A profusion of color and shapes was the site that would have greeted you looking into the Celebration   Sweatshirt Jacket class on Saturday, February 7^th!  Nine people participated in this class.  Doris used browns,   golds & green for the randomly-arranged patchwork, and Gloria used gold & rust.  Maggie’s squares were lime  green, red & yellow, and Rita’s were bright festival colors!  Sharleen’s burgundy and green squares blendedbeautifully, and Lucy used her favorite blues and browns. 

Three members tweaked the patchwork design slightly.  Liz used rectangles in greys and magenta set in an original pattern, and Jane arranged the beige and black patchwork in a distinct design, as did Anna with her purple fabrics! 

Everyone had a wonderful time – sharing their ideas, tips and funny stories!  Dee Regilio was an excellent instructor with her extensive sewing knowledge, encouragement and advice!  Hopefully, these beautiful jackets will be seen on the runway at the October Chapter Fashion Show!
